My research focuses predominantly on two areas: the psychology of endurance performance, and abuse experiences and mental health in sports officials (e.g., referees). You will find links to my publications in the Research page.

As a runner, I have completed more than 30 marathons and ultramarathons.
Marathons have included Dublin, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. My personal best is 3:08:36.
Ultra marathons have included the Marathon des Sables (read my blog about the race) and the Kerry Way Ultra (200km). I have also competed at Ireland's 24-hour running championships.
I am a native of County Kerry, Ireland, and I currently live in County Antrim, Ireland.
